Robb Report highlighted Island Outpost in its October 2014 issue in a section entitled, FrontRunners. The publication showcased Chris Blackwell’s Pantrepant estate situated along the Marthe Brea River. The estate itself has not been made available to guests until recently. Now guests staying at one of the three Island Outpost resorts can book a night in the stone cottage with 2 bedrooms. The estate itself operates as a farm which grows organic produce for guest staying with Island Outpost. During the day guests of the cottage have options of herding cows on horseback, swimming in the limestone encased watering hole or tending to the produce growing in the farm. To end the experience, Blackwell’s personal chef, Mama J., may prepare a dish of local specialties which could include tilapia or ackee grown on the estate.
