The Caves hosts Christmas Treat
The Caves Resort & Spa hosted a Christmas treat for the children attending Ironshore Kindergarten School as well as The Caves employee's children on Wednesday December 21st.
|
The event was held on the grounds of the Negril Lighthouse and featured Santa Claus, a magic show, face painting, the Crazy Stooges dance trio, Bounce-a-bout, cotton candy, snow cones, ice-cream, hot dogs, patties and loads of fun!
The Ironshore Kindergarten school was founded by Mrs. Leesa Eastwood 10 years ago with just 9 children. Mrs. Eastwood moved to the West End from her job as a teacher in Clarendon when her husband's church relocated the young Pastor. She formed the school to meet her personal commitment to teaching--her first love. The school now provides early childhood education for over 80 children between the ages of 2 to 6. The school is located at the end of Providence Lane which is just across from the entrance to Rick's Cafe on Negril's West End and most attendees live in the area also.
The Christmas Treat was an uplifting experience for all involved and was well received by both parents and children!
The event featured gifts, Bounce-a-Bout, face painting, magic show, Crazy Stooges dancers and food & drinks for all! The invited guests were the children attending Ironshore School as well as the children of all of The Caves employees.
Santa (F&B Manager Sharlene Williams) hands out gifts to over 100 children with the help of Ironhore Principle Leesa Eastwood and Santa's Helper (Jody-Anne Wallace, GM's daughter)
